Good Grief
My first solo exhibition Good Grief is an exploration of life, death and what comes after; exploring the relationship between the human body and how the experiences of death and grief change us. Using a mixture of interactive sewn forms, sculpture, video and projected media this show invites you step inside the process, walk with the grief and loss, and find peace in it. Showcasing how death at its core doesn’t need to be terrifying, the pieces view loss with compassion and understanding, creating space for a feeling of acceptance that can even be beautiful.
Living Lace
Living Lace is the culmination of my work at the Fish Factory Artists Residency in Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland. Taking inspiration from the landscape, traditional cross-stitch and knit pixel patterns, which are then blended through layered projection back onto the landscape in which they were inspired.
